Our cupcake customers have had great success with our range of natural flavourings. So, to show you just how far some of our high strength natural flavourings can really go, we got stuck in at the Foodie Flavours Kitchen.
The buttercream icing ingredients
120g of butter
240g of icing sugar
1-2 tbsp of milk
Foodie Flavours Natural Raspberry Flavouring
Putting it all together
- Beat the butter in a bowl until soft. Then add half the icing sugar and beat it again until smooth.
- Add the remaining icing sugar and a tablespoon of milk and beat the mixture some more until creamy.
- Add 6 drops (or adjust to taste) of our Natural Raspberry Flavouring and stir in well.
Using 30g of our icing per cupcake – we iced 12 cupcakes.
Wow! – with around 1,000 drops in a bottle of Foodie Flavour we could flavour enough buttercream icing for about 2,000* cupcakes.
* Exact results will of course depend on strength of taste required and amount of icing used for each cupcake.
We tried again using ‘Fruits of the forest’ natural flavouring and it was very, very yum! – even if we say so ourselves.
